I had a power surge come through my house due to DTE's underground wire being faulty, it took out $6,000 worth of electronics in the home. After waiting for 4 days they finally came out and fixed the underground wire.
I filed a claim to get the damages paid for and was told that they own the underground wire but are not responsible for what happens to it.
I have attached a picture from their website that states it differently. This company is a worthless joke, customer service is pathetic and the woman who works in the claims department is rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional, and a terrible employee who lacks people skills.
Reason of review: Damaged or defective.
Monetary Loss: $6000.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
