I became behind in my DTE bill in January and worked a payment plan to pay it off. They never notified me that my consumption increased and let me jack up my bill.

I was over half paid off on the back due when all of a sudden they cut off my power in the worst heat we've had in years. When I contacted DTE we were told that they had sent out a notification by mail to us. It was post marked the same day as the turn off. DTE turned off my power before I even got my mail.

I found enough money to pay off the whole sum and was told 2 business days my power would be restored. I have talked to Luann, Kim, Sebastion and numerous other customer service people and have gotten multiple stories on the delay since it is now over 4 business days and I still have no power. The last statement by DTE was "You are not a priority".

Due to the fact DTE is a monopoly in my area and I can not go to another utility company; I AM PISSED!! - Scott
